In 2006, I was a victim of a domestic violence incident that involved near-fatal strangulation. That 2006 event led her to an excruciating 13-year medical nightmare. My frustrating journey has resulted in an inspirational story of recovery, healing, and triumph. I am committed to raising awareness and providing education on breaking the cycles of abuse, recognizing unhealthy environments, and rewiring the brain so people can live healthy, happy, and productive lives.
